Mała Wieś Palace is an exquisite and one-of-a-kind place. It is considered to be one of the finest examples of neo-classical architecture in Poland - and recently it has finally been restored to its former glory. During its 230-year-old history it had the honor of hosting numerous prominent figures, such as the Polish king Stanisław August Poniatowski himself. Mała Wieś Palace marries a timeless classical design with XVII-century refinement – and the result of such a mix is a building of exceptional beauty which helps to render each event organized here special and unforgettable. It’s a place where dreams catch up with reality and where the best memories are made.
The Palace was built by Bazyli Walicki, the voivode of Rawa Voivodeship, a participant of the Four-Year Sejm (held in Warsaw between 1788 and 1792) and a counsellor and friend to king Stanisław August Poniatowski. The Palace was built in the predominant architectural style of the period – classicism. 1786, which is when first owners moved in, is a date you’ll still find on a commemorative plaque in the front hall of the Palace. Mała Wieś has never been a simple manor, but a house to many prominent, distinguished individuals. This is where Polish history was being made.
Palace’s Outbuildings, located in Palace’s park, is where you’ll find 16 exceptional suites. Each of them consists of a comfortable sitting room, a beautiful bedroom and a spacious bathroom. They differ greatly in interior design to cater to all of our guests’ tastes, yet they all share the regal atmosphere of luxurious Palace’s apartments. For those who need ever more convincing we have a surprise – Prince’s Suite, which will spoil you with all it has to offer.
Stara Wozownia has also witnessed some of Mała Wieś’ incredible history. This is where, many years ago, king Stanisław August Poniatowski’s coaches stopped – and where, today, our Chef stops the guests with his extraordinary meals, prepared carefully with the ingredients of the highest quality. The Stara Wozownia restaurant can accommodate up to 100 guests, which will sit comfortable in its 3 beautiful rooms. And that’s not all - let’s not forget about the incredible Teahouse and its enchanting chambers!
