Grape Harvest at Mała Wieś Palace – an autumn weekend full of flavor, history, and tradition

All stories ↗

Autumn in Mazovia has a unique rhythm. The air turns cooler, the park begins to don gold and russet colors, and nature prepares for its winter rest. It is precisely then that the vineyards pulse with life – the time for the harvest, work with the grapes, and celebration of the new vintage has arrived.

If you dream of an autumn getaway that will allow you to detach from the everyday for a moment, learn the secrets of winemaking from a completely different perspective, and relax in a unique place, we invite you to the Grape Harvest at Pałac Mała Wieś.

From October 9–11, 2026, we invite you to a special weekend in the heart of Mazovia, during which we will combine palace history, local cuisine, a passion for winemaking, and authentic experiences.

This will not be an ordinary hotel stay.

This will be a weekend where you can enter the world of the vineyard – from the harvest to the bottle.

An autumn weekend in the heart of Mazovia

Pałac Mała Wieś is a place where history, nature, and modern hospitality create a unique whole.

Surrounded by an expansive park, the palace residence is the perfect place for an autumn rest. Far from the city rush, you can slow down here, go for walks, savor good food, and discover local flavors.

And in autumn, Mała Wieś takes on a special character.

It is at this time of year that the harvest takes place at the Pałac Mała Wieś Vineyard – a unique moment when the fruits of months of work ripen and head to processing.

During our weekend, you will be able to not only taste the finished beverages, but above all see what the process of their creation looks like.

From grape to bottle – get to know the world of winemaking from the inside

Have you ever wondered how much work it takes for a bottle of fine wine to be created from small grapes?

During the Grape Harvest, you will be able to get to know this process much more closely.

We will visit the Pałac Mała Wieś Vineyard and the winery, where, during the "From press to bottle" tour, we will discover the subsequent stages of creating local beverages.

It is precisely these kinds of experiences that make a tasting take on a completely different meaning.

When we see the vines beforehand, touch the fruit, and learn about the winemakers' work, each glass becomes more than just a tasting. It becomes the story of a place, people, nature, and many months of work.

Grape Harvest – become part of the picking

One of the most important points of the weekend will, of course, be the grape harvest.

On Saturday, participants will visit the vineyard to see what the harvesting of grapes and the preparation of the fruit for further production looks like.

The program will include, among other things:

  • a walk through the Pałac Mała Wieś Vineyard,
  • grape picking,
  • juice pressing,
  • destemming,
  • fruit selection,
  • learning about the winemakers' work.

This is an authentic experience that cannot be replaced by a simple tasting.

You will be able to see for yourself what one of the most important moments in the entire winemaking calendar looks like.

Grape-themed welcome dinner

We will begin the Grape Harvest on Friday evening with a special meeting at the table.

At 6:00 PM, we will invite Guests to a four-course grape-themed welcome dinner with pairings, prepared by Rafał Kępka, Head Chef of Stara Wozownia Restaurant.

The menu will be inspired by grapes, and individual dishes will be paired with appropriately selected beverages.

We will host the evening together with Tomasz Barański, owner of the Pałac Mała Wieś Vineyard, who will talk about his passion for winemaking, the history of the Vineyard, and the work behind the creation of each vintage.

There will also be a special moment – the joint opening of a bottle from the palace vineyard.

It will be elegant, intimate, and, above all, very tasty.

The history of the Palace meets winemaking tradition

The Grape Harvest in Mała Wieś has one more unique dimension.

During the Friday evening, we will talk about the traditions associated with the Palace and its aristocratic founders.

It is the history of the place that makes the local Vineyard something more than just another attraction.

Pałac Mała Wieś has been part of the region's history for over two centuries. Today, this history meets the modern art of creating local beverages, gastronomy, and experiences that allow Guests to get to know Mała Wieś with all their senses.

Saturday full of winemaking experiences

We will start Saturday calmly – with breakfast at the Palace.

Next, we will head to the Pałac Mała Wieś Vineyard, where the most anticipated moment of the weekend awaits us.

First, we will learn the "From press to bottle" path, and then we will take part in the harvest ourselves.

After work in the vineyard, it will be time for a well-deserved rest and tasting.

Tasting of five beverages from the Pałac Mała Wieś Vineyard

At 3:00 PM, we will invite Guests to a tasting of five beverages from the Pałac Mała Wieś Vineyard, which will be led by the palace sommelier.

This is an opportunity to look at a tasting a bit more consciously – to learn the aromas, the character of individual beverages, and the rules of pairing them with food.

We will also prepare artisanal cheeses, cold cuts, fresh bread, and olive oils for the tasting.

It will be a true feast for all the senses.

Autumn cuisine at Stara Wozownia Restaurant

After returning to the Palace, you will be able to rest, and in the evening, we will meet again at the table.

The Saturday dinner at Stara Wozownia Restaurant will be another culinary accent of this unique weekend.

Because the Grape Harvest in Mała Wieś is not just tastings and picking.

It is also a cuisine that draws from seasonality, local products, and tradition, while simultaneously interpreting them in a modern way.

Time for relaxation

After a day full of impressions, it is worth simply slowing down.

Included in the package price, Guests receive access to the relaxation zone – a dry sauna, a hot tub, and a wood-fired sauna.

After a day spent in the vineyard, this will be the perfect moment to warm up, rest, and enjoy the peace of Mała Wieś.

Use of the saunas and hot tub requires prior booking.

Guests also have at their disposal an outdoor gym, guarded external parking, and Wi-Fi available throughout the entire property.
